3 Day High Risk Environment Orientation Course

This program is designed as pre-deployment training for individuals who will be working in a high-risk environment. The program includes medical, current threat briefing; individual protective measures training; weapons training; and a review of tactics, techniques and procedures. The cornerstone of this instruction is identifying the physiological effects of imminent danger and how the individual can perform successfully with these effects present. Skills for avoiding potentially hazardous situations are covered as well as skills to prevail when avoidance is impossible. Weapons, ammunition and training equipment will be provided. The course is modular by design to accommodate the specific requirements of different contractors. Appropriate attire is comfortable ‘street’ clothes. For additional details please contact us to receive a copy of our informational brochure or to schedule an over the phone discussion.

Topics include religion, traditions, family life and differences in the lifestyles of urban and rural populations. For additional details please contact us to receive a copy of our informational brochure or to schedule an over the phone discussion.

3 Day Third World Driving Program

VBS’s third world driving program is designed to prepare the student for operating a vehicle in the varied terrain found in developing areas worldwide. Students learn through classroom training, practical application and execution of learned skills in challenging drills in pavement, dirt and off road. Students maximize vehicle and driver capabilities for offensive and defensive driving situations. From basic skills of brake application to advanced techniques of trail braking out of turns, students use their vehicle as a precision instrument and force multiplier to support mission goals. Vehicle control for accident avoidance, inclement weather, varying traction surfaces, and varying speeds allow the student to apply appropriate techniques given a dynamic driving environment. Because vision is such a large part of driving success, students learn to expand their vision outside of the front of the hood for high performance driving. These fundamentals carry the student through the unimproved road portion where they learn to read the road and find the best traction available to support their driving line, control skid and use it to their advantage or mitigate it while maintaining their desired path. Throttle, brake control, and suspension become a focus as students learn off-roading principles and the associated equipment that prepares the driver for travel where roads are washed out or non existent. Once complete, VBS’s third world driving students leave with another skill set to make them more prepared to travel in third world environments. For additional details please contact us to receive a copy of our informational brochure or to schedule an over the phone discussion.
